Kathy Breen has been a Resident Service Coordinator for over 12 years with Franciscan Ministries, now Mercy Housing. Kathy refers and assists residents in a senior housing community in Gurnee, Illinois. Many of her residents utilize Medicare, Medicaid, spend-downs, and insurance plans that are offered by the state of Illinois. Kathy will give a brief overview of MMAI and Medicaid Managed Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) program. MLTTSS is a “sister” program to MMAI that began on July 1, 2016 for those who have opted out of MMAI.
